Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood paid the sin debt of all mankind and obtained eternal redemption for the believer. A free gift of God's grace and the only acceptable sacrifice to a Holy God. Salvation in its' broadest sense includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. there is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. Jesus is the son of God, present in equal authority with God the Father and the Holy Spirit from eternity past through eternity future. He became man apart from the sin debt of Adam to become the sacrificial lamb. Pure and sinless to pay a sin debt no one could pay.
Regeneration or the new birth as in born again, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. A change of heart brought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, the believer acknowledges their sin, repents to God with faith in the Lord Jesus. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of Grace, turn from sin toward God and a commitment of faith in Jesus, the Son of God.
Justification is God's gracious and full acquittal upon principles of His righteousness of all sinners who repent and believe in Christ. A relationship of peace, love, and favor with God is available through salvation.
Sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God's purposes for each individual and is enabled to progress toward vocal and spiritual maturity through the presence, power and indwelling Holy Spirit in each believer. Growth should continue thoughout each believers life.
